With quiet light, misty mornings and a sense of peace, JM Brodrick's paintings evoke a sense of calm and beauty.  From forestscpaes to the wild mustangs of Bend, Oregon she mixes both contemporary and classic painting techniques in her moody and atmospheric acrylics.

She states: “I’ve enjoyed painting the beautiful areas of Oregon, which include several forestscapes, a cityscape and the countryside.  I love the misty light of an old growth forest; a quiet refuge in a busy world.  If you sit long enough you can usually spot a black tailed deer or just listen to the distant echo of a woodpecker.  I hope these new paintings evoke a sense of the beauty of these wild places.”
